The Cold Pool Get in early

A better-shaped little pool

The Cold Pool

The everyday plunge pool.

Deep enough to actually submerge. Small enough for a tiny backyard. Comfortable enough to sit, lounge, and stay awhile.

Illustration of the idea. Real photography to come.

The idea

It’s a pool.
Just a better-shaped one.

Most cheap inflatable pools spread the water outward — wide, shallow, space-hungry, and awkward for anyone taller than a toddler. You end up sitting in a few inches of water.

Inflatable spas quietly solved that geometry: a compact footprint, meaningful depth, and soft walls you can actually lean against. Then they piled on heaters, bubbles, pumps, plumbing, and controls nobody asked for.

Keep the useful shape. Lose the machinery.

The whole trick

More depth. Less pool.

Same patch of yard. Completely different experience. One spreads a thin, chilly layer across your whole patio. The other gives you enough water to actually get in — sitting down, up to your shoulders.

The usual inflatable pool Wide, shallow, space-hungry — cold on your feet and not much else.
The Cold Pool Compact footprint, meaningful depth — enough to sit down and sink in.

Illustrations show relative proportions, not final dimensions.

What it’s for

You know the feeling.

A cool lake. A cold shower. Jumping in on a hot afternoon and walking out wide awake. The Cold Pool puts that ten feet from your back door — for whenever it sounds good.

Morning

Two minutes before the coffee’s even cold. Walk out groggy, walk back in awake.

Hot afternoon

When it’s 95 out and the AC isn’t cutting it. Get in. Everything is better.

After the yard work

Mow the lawn, then get in the thing you’ll water it with later. Full circle.

After a run or a sauna

The oldest reset there is: warm body, cool water. No chiller required.

The workday reset

Disappear for ninety seconds. Come back dripping and strangely productive.

Doing absolutely nothing

Sit in water. Stare at the fence. Be gloriously unproductive. Recommended.

A quick word

It’s not that deep.

Somehow, getting into cold water became an expensive ritual — chillers, apps, exact degrees, a whole identity to go with it.

We’re not here to argue with any of that. If you want precisely 39° water every single morning, there are excellent machines built for exactly that.

We’re making something else. A pool you can fill from the hose and actually want to get into.

How it works

Cold water. No complications.

01

Fill it.

From the hose. That’s the setup.

02

Get in.

The hard part, honestly.

03

Drain it when you’re ready.

Simple drain. No plumbing.

04

Water something.

The lawn will thank you.

That’s the whole manual.

Not a one-person pod

The kiddie pool for adults.(Kids seem to disagree.)

Deep enough for grown-ups to sink in and lounge. Simple enough that everyone immediately gets it. Two adults talking, a kid who won’t get out, a dog eyeing the whole situation — this isn’t a lonely plunge tub in the garage.
